Dear Henry Your painting of our home at Kensington cannot culminate by the mere payment for the work carried out by you and your team. The paint job is magnificent. Your work ethic, professionalism is a high standard. As an example outside windows you painted an additional coat of paint above the 3 coats quoted because you felt it required the extra coat. You didn’t discuss or ask for extra money, you just did it.
Your advice regarding colour schemes was appreciated; you painted small portions of the home and changed the shades of the samples for us until we found the desired final colour. You were flexible, patient and helpful with our uncertainty regarding colour. I consider you and your team the best painters and value for money going around. Dear Henry Please find enclosed a cheque as the final payment for all your work at our home in Kingsford. It is almost strange not to have you and your team turn up to our house each day and transform it into a much lighter and brighter home. We initially employed you to paint the inside of our house and we were so happy with the results that we commissioned you to complete the outside of our home. I was not looking forward to the painting as were living through the experience with three children but you and your team were flexible, accommodation and efficient. You turned up everyday as promised and the only hiccups in the job were the ones I created with a couple of last minute changes which you incorporated without any hassle. Dear Henry Just a quick note to say thank you for taking care of the painting of our offices. You made the entire process, from the quote to the final touches painless for the whole group. Its never easy to organize painting for a commercial office group – 30 busy people who really didn’t want their day or routines interrupted by tradesmen, even if the end result is worthwhile. You make that work well for us by agreeing to the Friday, Saturday and Sunday schedule. I found Spectrum’s service, professionalism and work excellent. You started on time, finished on time all with no muss or fuss and the end result is what you promised it would be. Dealing with a professional such as Henry Holt from Spectrum was an absolute delight. After first inspection of the job, the resulting quote was turned around quickly and was detailed and concise. Henry completed the job quickly but with care and precision and it was very easy to talk to him about any small issues that arose during the work. I have dealt with many tradesmen but never come across one like Henry who is so careful and respectful of ones home and so meticulous in ensuring that the work areas are dept clean and contained. During June-July 2006 we engaged Spectrum Painting and Home Maintenance to carry out the complete repainting internally and all timber and metalwork externally to our small three story 1860s terrace house in East Balmain. It was the major part of a general repair and maintenance program involving repairs to timberwork; metal fence realignment; minor reglazing; floor tile, wall tile and rug cleaning; bath resurfacing; floor sanding and resealing; new carpet and wallpapering. It was also necessary for us to occupy the house during the whole of this disruptive period. Although not the cheapest quotation obtained, we were very impressed by their initial enthusiasm, attention to detail and the thoroughness of the quotation. Henry Holt and his team, successfully carried out the difficult task in an efficient and extremely friendly manner. They willingly coordinated with our time schedules and cheerfully cooperated with all other trades as necessary and as required. Once the commencement and finish dates had been set, Spectrum worked diligently to this schedule and, apart from the usual and accepted minor ‘touch up’ work required after completion, handed over the project with no extras incurred, notwithstanding some agreed minor changes during the course of their work. Workmanship was of a high standard and we found the whole of the painting team to be efficient and courteous. It was our pleasure to have met and worked with them all.
